So I bought some tail lamps for my 99 996, but they look way bigger and wider than what are in there right now, the listing for them said they would fit, am I missing something? If you can please help me and tell me how to determine which tail lamps I need, trying to get rid of all this orange on my car. here is a pic of what I bought, that doesnt appear it could ever fit. Am I wrong?

 

are they maybe only for turbo and c4? the guy I talked to said they would fit on my c2, but again they look way too big, did I get some bad info?

 

Probably for a 4S or Turbo with the widebody. The part numbers are as follows:

Narrow body - L 996.631.486.00
R 996.631.486.00

Wide Body - L 996.631.487.00
R 996.631.488.00

you can see that thos are for a widebody, look at the line bewtween the turn signal and the brake...

get some LED ones , they look better and are about the same price

Those Tail Lights are for 996 C4S, Twin Turbo or GT2... Widebody Lights
