The smoked headlights were a great addition to the overall look. The car came out great!

Looks great. The only thing I would change is get rid of the amber lens and put in silver turn signal bulbs. It's called the "Porsche 996 turn signal conversion kit"

Did you use the night shades paint for the headlights? I bought some last winter but still haven't done it. I also have the bulbs for the turn signals but they have been sitting for a year or more.

The bodyshop paint the headlight but i dont know what they use.I ordered the bulbs for the headlight turn signals but didn't get the stealth bulbs (idont like the blueish color they provide in off mode) i got some LED bulbs.This weekend i'l try to install them and i will post some pictures.
hopefully we get together soon.Also i'm glad you fix your nightmare with the internals and you enjoy the car now.

 

Did your head lights have the lower amber section or where they clear when you smoked them?

That looks amazing! I would, as stated earlier, add a rear spoiler and bumper of some sort though. The aggressive front and side skirts look great, but the design loses steam as you get to the back of the car.
