Man, I'm excited! Did I say I've always wanted a 911?

Thanks for the tip on the PCA - I'll be sure to join up the one here in NorCal.

Yeah, I did the same when I bought my street bikes and dirt bike (which are all now gone, hence the 911). I do like to mod them up. This one shouldn't need much at all. (Famous last words).

I've also been looking about that long. I was almost willing to fly down to SoCal to look at some, make a work trip out of it, but didn't need to.

Mike, I can't PM yet. Give me a day or two for my post count to rise and I will.

Cell phone picture. I'll clean her up after I get her back from the inspection, and take better pics.

Only real inspection items - front brakes are at 2mm, needs new front tires, positive battery connector and post were corroded - gettng a new connector crimped and shrink wrapped on there, and a new battery. Couple owners ago put an aftermarket cold air intake, but it didn't fit well, so the air sensor was too close, and the casing was rattling against the AC pulley. The filter was a paper filter, too, all plugged up. Lucklily, I still have the original, so he'll put that in until I save up some cash to get a new one, after I do the tires and brakes.

Thanks Mike. I put the original back on and a new filter. I'll get a K&N, just not sure how soon. I'll get the whole kit, though. I saw a guy selling them here for a great price!

I was in a similar situation, was looking for the perfect Porsche that still fit the budget knowing all the mods I have planned. Finally found my 996 at the other side of the country in San Fran. 99 996 72k for $17,900 which I thought was a good deal. I received the car last week and I love it. I ordered an Evo front bumper, GT2 rockers, turbo bumper, GT2 wing, springs and shocks to start with.. Can’t Wait!!!!
