::::Cheated & Bolted Up Spacers To The Front LM'S::::

..Been craving to throw some spacers on the front LM's to push them out a bit, but not wanting to run spacers on all 4 corners threw that thought out the window every time..Woke up one morning and thought, "screw it"..Drove over to EZAccessory in San Gabriel and picked up a pair of 13mm hub centric spacers, went home, ate some cookies, mounted them up, torqued the bolts, and headed out..

Thanks to my friend Chris (lancerawd@hotmail.com) for taking the shots http://forum.e46fanatics.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif Feel free to contact him if you're interested in a photo shoot https://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/s...ilies/cool.gif

Aren't you glad you decided to keep it? 14mm is a big push. I never though the fronts looked set in before, but it looks perfect. I wonder how it would look with painted side skirts?

In general I think your car looks really good. But in my opinion it is too low for the tire/rim combination. the rims are almost at the lip of the fenders which looks a little ricer to me. Again, just my opinion.

bavorak May 16, 2010 08:54 AM

I like it! yes its low, but I think it is more of a show car than DD for you? I'm sure if you had to drive it daily you would probably raise the ground clearance of the suspension. But back to the point of this tread, your setup makes for a great photo, and cudos to you photographer, Highcard your pics are always spectacular. Good Job!

Get some wider tires! PLEASE!!!

Jroc May 16, 2010 09:47 AM

Looks great, He wouldnt be able to fit wider tires on the rear without rubbing.

Ive never seen such big lips on a porsche spec LM before.

Your C4S is nice!

Can you make it up driveways/speedbumps w/o dmg?

with his front that low, I'm sure he get plenty of scrape....mine is only 4 inches off the ground after I installed the 997 GT3 bumper..& I scraped it everyday..going up slowly at an angle helps a little but going down nose first...scrape all the time.
