I saw a post can't remember where, but the Evo CAI for a 996 used the stock snorkel same as the K/N intake. Do they still make these?

 

From the way I understand your question, no, it replaces the whole snorkel, just like the K&N. If you go to vendor classifieds, you'll see that Andrew of Redline Motorsports have a sale thread on these. That's where I got mine from.

 

Or....are you talking about the little piece that is mounted to the decklid that couples the intake to the deck air inlet? It stays stock.
