carbon fibre question
when i bought my car used, it came with the carbon fibre interior. i noticed that one of the pieces had been replaced because it looked darker than all the other pieces. the new piece looked like it was black and gray while all the other original pieces looked to be brown and black. well about a week ago i had my steering wheel replaced because there was a crack in the carbon fibre. when they replaced it, the carbon fibre, obviously newer, had that black and gray look to it, which also clashes with the rest of the pieces in my car. my question is, were there 2 different types or carbon fibre made. in other words, did they upgrade or switch to a different type? or is what i am seeing is fading of the original carbon fibre. either way it looks like sh*t. to me anyway. am i being unreasonable to see if the dealer would switch out the rest of the pieces so that my car matches? my car is an 01 and is out of warranty in april. any input is appreciated.
