Get the station you want and just hold the button down to u hear the beep

 

i have the exact same model. you should have a sat nav disc which should always be in the drive for it to work. the manual for your model will give you instructions but its not to difficult to sus out. the bad news is that your sat nav is only current to 2004 after that you have to buy a new expensive sat nav system for updates from 2004 to today.

 

I bought a Garmin Nuvi 350 at Costco for $149.00, it a reasonably good GPS. Easy to operate and best of all its portable.

 

that is a lot cheaper than the porsche sat nav does it fit into the consul?

 

It's a small portable unit . It's not a built in unit. I can put it on the seat or there is a system to attach it to the dash or windshield. I always put it on the passanger seat
