On May 20th my warning light came on and said to take the car to the shop. on May 21st the Porsche garage said that i had a code 420. I had Fabspeed 200 cell cats along with cold air kit and Maxflo Mufflers put on around two years ago. The Porsche garage did a test, and the cat was not flowing properly. I called Alex from Fabspeed, he asked that i send him the cats back. They had thought that I had put racing fuel in my car, which would void the warranty. I did not use racing fuel. On May 25th I called Alex to see where we stand. They did not have the parts in stock to rebuild my cats. I asked the Porsche garage to put my original cats back on so that I could enjoy my car. Alex did send me back my rebuilt cats NO Chargeback to me on JUNE 9th. The cats really do make difference in performance. I picked up my car with a bill of $963.74.
That included testing the flow of the cats, taking of the cats and reinstalling my original and taking them back off and reinstalling the Fabspeed cats. Do you think that it is fair for them to pick up a portion of this tab since the cats faild with less than 10,000 miles? They have been giving me the run around for over a week and a half.
