Question Driving up Mt. Diablo

New to NorCal and very new to my 2003 996. Was thinking of taking her to Mt. Diablo. Not been on the road to the summit before. Sound reasonable or are there better venues for a good first trip in the car?

Alices?

Come over to Saratoga, go up I9 then right at top of the mountain...to Alices for breakfast, you'll likely see an ocean of bikes and a few nice cars if you go on the weekend...

Any road is a good road in the 996! The road to the top of Mt Diablo is pretty narrow and lots of tight turns... not much chance to really open it up... but a great view from the top...

Much Disputed Factoid: Mt Diablo has the 2nd greatest viewshed on the planet earth! (Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa claimed to be 1st).
