litronic upgrade

I am thinking of switching to litonics on my 2000 996, I understand it is plug and play. Question, anyone experienced fuse problems? Thanks.

I did it to my 1999 996 cabrio, they work perfectly. No electrical issues and yes it is plug and play.

On the other hand I fell the ilumination was better with factory light assembly. For the amount of money....well I was not satisfied.

Try to find someone in your area that has done the conversion before going ahead with the project.

I have an aftermarket system on my Maserati, paid 1/10 and are much better.

I bought a set of Litronics on ebay and if I had it to do overagain probably would of spent a few hundy more and gone for new ones from a vendor.. The original lights, mine were ambers on the 99, were the first thing I saw every time I walked out the garage door and jumped in. I generally get focused on one mod and it won't let go until I do something about it. So I did the upgrade and had to seriously refinish the lenses to get them looking good. In retrospect I would seriously consider going from ambers to clears and do an HID kit and spend the money on suspension goodies.
