Need help with wheel compatibility

Hi, I just bought my first Porsche, a 2001 Carrera and was offered wheels off of a 2004 996 Turbo. Was wondering if it will fit. I know nothing about offsets, backspacing, etc... Please advise.

If you just got a Carrera (not a 4s) its narrow body and the turbo is wide body so I believe they would stick out past the fender. I may be wrong though so wait till someone else answers you.

re:wheel specs

The wheel offered to me is 19x11 rear. Checking tirerack.com, they do offer that size(max) for my vehicle, but again, the question is regarding the offset. I believe the bolt pattern is the same at 5-130.

Cool

I know that they are wide body offsets.....but I wonder what it would actually look like?

The stock wheel offsets are so conservative and tucked in, you can run a 15mm spacer with no problem.

You need to actally try one on.
