Need help...car too loud.

Hello,

I haven't been on here in a while but I have developed a problem. I have a C4S with fabspeed cat delete pipes and and PSE mufflers. I also have FVD intake and tuning, a custom sachs clutch set up with light weight fly wheel and some other little mods.

My car is too loud! I have the PSE button that I can use to put it on "quiet" mode. However, since the cat bypass install, I have already been through 3 PSE mufflers and most recently, my shop told me to drive on "open" as much as possible to reduce the heat. My car sounds amazing but is so loud, it deters me from driving it like I used to enjoy. I am constantly worried about police attention. Is there any way I can reduce the sound without losing power? It screams.

Mike

Change the cat bypass to either the stock cats or the fabspeed 200cell x-pipe. I have the x-pipe and its not much louder than stock. Lots of people run the PSE open all the time with no issues...its gotta be the cat deletes that is making the car that much louder!!!

Hi Guys, the Sport Cats will create more restriction then the straight pipes so it will reduce the HP at the mid to top end range. But they will also improve the low end Torque, which we saw in our Dyno testing on these products. I would go with our X Pipe Sport Cats for improved power and too quiet down the setup you are currently running now. DucatiS4F, PM or email me if you have any other questions and I can offer you a 6speed member discount on the Sport Cats if you are interested.
Thanks,
