DIY MKI Litronics headlamps (clearing lens)

Take of the headlights. Grab pliers, start breaking the amber lens. Some uses soldering machine to melt it instead. I used pliers I just started twisting the lens since it's soft and bendable. It's easy.... The clear one looks way better. You have to use amber bulbs after the mod. I know this mod has been done all around...but thought I 'd share mine

No chance of something going wrong? Pieces not coming off, or staying in place or something of that nature? Would like to do but hesitant.
