I drove a current-generation-for-that-time 7-series when I was 27 and everyone thought that was cool. A 911 at 24 is way cooler! Congratulations!

 

Thanks again guys! Yeah I wont lie, I do feel cool when I am driving down the street and people look at me like what the hell lol. But I worked hard for the things I have. Nothing was handed to me. I want to keep this car my entire life. Just as a reminder of the dream I reached.

 

very nice, i'm with you on the spoiler, to me without it a 996 doesn't even look like a sports car, it just looks bare, i used to keep the standard spoiler up all the time, cause i didn't like the car without something back there. imho the 996 & 997's are all plain without some kind of wing, wheels, skirts, etc...by the way welcome & i like the color of your car too

johnnyred2010 and psycho sid, thanks you guys for the comments and for sticking up for me. I don't care if someone else doesn't think the 996 is top of the line or anything. I am driving a car that cost 115 thousand brand new. That's def not bottom of the line, and to accomplish that goal at 24 I am damn proud of myself. I guess savannah just doesn't like to congratulate people on what the accomplish. But for everyone that has THANK YOU! I honestly appreciate it.

Your welcome, but I think you better get used to it (envy), especially from those who can't afford a Porsche, Ferrari etc. because in the current economical environment, success (and it's fruits) seems to provoke an ever growing aggressive/malicious disposition.

Just got back from the Hamptons and was shocked by the aggression towards those whom have money...

Thanks sid! I went to the Le Mans races at Lime Rock a few weeks ago and everyone up there was going me a snotty attitude cause I was so young with a Porsche. I hear things in town also. I pay no mind. Bad feedback is always the best for me. Always tells me I am on the right path. Other people don't want to see me be successful so they hate. And I love it! But, I def agree with you sid. thank you again.

 

Nice car but those are 18 inch Turbo Twist wheels not 19's. Porsche didn't make 19's turbo twists, I know because I have a site that lists every OEM wheel made by Porsche.
I like the design on the widebody 996's. Watch out for everyone under the sun who wants to race you like they do to me at every traffic light I'm at. (Other driver's freak out when they a dark green 911 I guess.) Have fun enjoy!

 

Airrik your right they are 18's. I thought for some reason when I first got the car that they where 19's. I realized the other day when I went to read the tire size to order some new rear tires. I don't race people. Let them rev and speed off all they want. I don't beat on my car like that. I baby her! thank you for the compliment on my car. I appreciate it!

 

No problem Porsche Shiftin...hey nice avatar name too. You can never have too many compliments ha ha. I tell my girlfriend this as well (woman love compliments).
Your right I baby the car most of the time but if someone makes me upset on the road zoom there I go! Read your manual in there somewhere I heard your supposed to drive the 911 hard once in a while better for the engine. People be hatin on anyone who is young and successful trust me even the police have envy. I'm a little older than you and people don't believe it's my 996 Carrera sigh cause I look young!

 

very nice ride man , enjoy it and take it easy with the corners (eventhough its a C4S)at least until you get the feel of it, definatly do an autocross you will feel alot more comfortable at speeds and cornering, like my autocross instructor said "get to know her well, before you make her do tricks"

 

Nice Whip Pasquale.. I too am not feelin the wing. but if you like it.. thats all that matters.. Without the wing, its almost an exact replica of mine. Double your age, and add 5 and thats how old i am with my first Porsche.
