For GT3 Chuck and HRE

I looked at the other thread you closed about HRE. I think you should leave threads like that open so people may comment and share their own experiences about different purchases. I know it helps when I want to purchase from one place or another. IMHO, if HRE was having problems with any product line, new or old, they should have timely let the customer know. Excuse after excuse about whatever is irrelevant. At least the customer would go into the purchase knowing what to expect. Thanks.

you are certainly welcome to your opinion and I understand where you are coming from...however, it is board policy that issues between members or members and sponsors be handled off of the board so what I think really doesn't matter...I welcome members/sponsors that have an issue to contact me or any moderator and we will help in any way that we can but you will not see open flame sessions on members or sponsors here...if you are looking for that kind of drama you will have to look elsewhere...the thread is still up (even though it is closed), both parties have had their say and the thread is available for viewing to anyone who searches on HRE so I don't see the problem...we are not denying members access to information about possible delivery issues for a certain product...all we are doing is preventing other members/competitors from jumping in and piling on...when flame threads were permitted in the past we had many members/competitors sign up with faux accounts just to jump in and bash another member/competitor....that is not the kind of interaction we wish to have on this forum..thanks for bringing it up

Thanks for clearing that up Chuck. It was not drama I was seeking but instead actual stories from actual customers on their experiences. All I was saying was that information helps in creating a bigger picture. And, by leaving the thread on, but closed, does that - so thanks. Good day.

My goal this morning was to tell my story and not tell my emotions or pill on

Thanks for that opportunity

I think the Thread should have been left open... By Closing the Thread just tells that the Board Sponser can make up any BS Excuse and thats the End Of it... Kinda Biased, dont you think.

Even if it were Delayed they should have been straight up with the Customer about it insted of giving False Hopes and Delivery Times... If you cant Produce your Product on Time, you should not be in the Busniess like this... -1 for HRE and -1 for closing the Thread an shuting out peoples Opinion about incompetent Sponsors...

Nothing Personal Chuck, i know you are just following Rules and Regulations and its your Responsibility as a Mod. But Still, dont let the Sponser have the Upper Hand Because they are a "Paying" Member

I don't see how you can think the sponsor got the upper hand when it is plain for all to see that this order was not handled properly...to leave the thread open so a bunch of third parties can take sides and attack either the op or the sponsor serves no purpose that I can see but thanks for your comments

GT3 Chuck, It's difficult to strike a balance between not allowing third parties to create drama when they take sides and leaving the thread open so follow up from the OP on the other thread can be posted so we can all see what the actual resolution was and what time frames were involved. My initial comment was directed to the latter as I am sure Zookie would agree but I can totally understand the former and therefore respect your choice to close the thread. I for one would like to hear what ultimately happens with the OP's situation. Maybe the thread can be opened up just for him to post his last resolution. That would help us and HRE too so their name doesn't get further tarnished. Just a suggestion - ultimately, and with all due respect, the decision is yours.

Ok...that's easy...as I receive updates from the op or HRE they will be added to the thread

Btw...I have already asked the op to keep me posted and I have also asked HRE to expedite

don't you think we need to at least have somewhere we can go to, like a unresolved matters folder or something so that we can see what businesses are on the up & up, i mean that is one of the reasons for a forum is to find out who has the best prices, service, etc... & which ones continue to screw people over & over, not to say this co. is one, but at least have somewhere we could look it up to find out, sometimes there is a gray area about rules.

Threads of this kind are not deleted (unless they are proven to be fraudulent) and even if closed they can easily be found with the search function if a member has a question about a vendor or a business that is not a sponsor...if nothing is found with search the member can start a thread and ask about the company (I think there are currently at least two or three threads where members are looking for feedback on companies that are not site vendors)....so it's not as if members had no resources

basically, if you run across a term that is foreign to you run a search on it and several threads that contain that term will be provided for your perusal...that should at least give you some hint as to the meaning but if you are still in the dark simply ask your peers...you will find that the vast majority of members are anxious to help...warning (there are always exceptions)...you also can private message a member that appears to be knowledgeable regarding the particular subject requesting some additional info...again, you will find members will go out of their way to be helpful..
