Rms #2

I just had my car checked out by the dealer for a new extended warrenty. The car checked out fine other then the RMS. I just had a new RMS less then 18,000 miles ago. Why does my RMS keep going out? Is there something wrong with the motor?

Just luck I would say, sometimes due to non-operation on a regular basis to keep the "juices" flowing (as in my case) but some have never had the RMS failure while others have had multiple.

If you have a 6-speed, I can help you out on that, Porsche certified and factory trained tech for the low low price this week only at $650 !!!! Factory part!

We are located in Monterey Park, FREE car rental and auto detail performed on this service!!!

That's sick!

Some RMS problems are due to crankshafts that weren't true from the factory.

Yes, we will do this retrofit for you, as you will know there are a couple of different types 1 & 2 row design bearings, it is best if you purchase both and return the one which is not needed (They will not charge you a restock fee if you return only one).

If you have questions you can call me (323) 262-7365

As it turns out, it was not the RMS. The leak was from the IMS. The dealer replaced both under my extended warrenty. I bought a new warrenty for another four years. I'll have them check it again in two years.

I feel for you..I had the RMS done...then a year later they thought it was the RMS but found out it was the IMS...then a month ago (2 1/2 years later from the IMS) I had the RMS. Thank gosh for my extended warranty or I would be SOL..

Glad it turned out great for you. I know your heart beat must've slowed a little down since.
