I was getting the 1128/1130 codes for a few months. I would clean the MAF and reset the check engine light. The light would stay off for a few weeks and then would pop back on randomly while at idle. I did this for a few months (clean MAF/reset) then it started to bog down when cold in the morning. This went on for about a week. Then it started to get really cold (40F in FL is cold) and it back fired one morning during the bogging. I ordered a new MAF. When I put on the MAF it idled badly for a minute then smoothed out. No problems since the MAF replacement. It would also sometimes if you shifted above 4500K the ABS/PSM failure lights would come on. Again no issues since I replaced the MAF.

Thanks for the input. I ordered my MAF (Bosch) already. So what steps do I take to put it on. I mean do I take off the battery first then install it then put back the battery?

Plug and play. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. And, the installment does not require a battery disconnect. The only tool required is screwdriver with a TP20 head to remove the two screws mounting the MAF sensor to the air box housing.
