SC, MAF and K&N

How is that for a few initials. For those of you with Superchargers or K&N cone filters with a car cutting out or ideling rough and codes around 1105,6,7,8, on the OBII reader it may be an oiled Mass Air Flow Sensor. I had this problem after changing my K&N filter last week and just cleaned it with quick dry electrical cleaner spray. It now works great although I have only driven 20 m. Todd at Evo suggested this and also to wash the filter with soap and warm water to remove any excess oil.. The bucket was covered with the red oily scum. I hope this helps. Will

Spray it with Simple green, hose it off , let it air dry, re oil lightly, only on the air in side. it should be fine, I;ve never had a problem doing it this way.

I'd hose it off with bottled water.
