I had the V12's for about 15,000 miles before I replaced them. About 5,000 of those miles were on the track. Probably would have lasted much longer if I wasn't running max negative camber...the insides almost corded but the outsides still looked brand new. I thought it was a good street tire, but they developed flat spots after sitting for a week (which takes about 10 minutes of driving to work out). Overall a great tire for the price. I was running 225-30-18F/285-30-18R and live in the Washington DC area.

Other than treadlife, how's the road noise with the Hankooks?

They developed flat spots after about a week of sitting (at least for me). It felt like I was driving on rumble strips for the first 10 minutes, but after that I had no complaints...I didn't notice any significant road noise. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another set of these for street tires. IMO you can't really beat the value.

I just put a set on a few weeks ago. Very quiet tires, and amazing in the wet. I had pzero rosso before this which lasted about 10k km. just attended a DE this past weekend, tires held up well once the optimal pressure was found. But by the end of a 20min session the grip drops off when it gets too hot.

I thought they were pretty good on track until about the 25 minute mark. What pressures were you running? I started at 29psi which ended up to be about 35-36 by the end of the session.

It was fine until my 20 min mark usually. I was running 40psi hot, when cooled it goes to a out 31-32psi.

Neb,

I think if you start a little bit lower (~29psi) it might make the tires last longer before they start to give...40 psi hot sounds really high to me.

The road noise is quite good, meaning they are quiet, at least until they get worn down flat on the inside, then the road noise goes up but still acceptable.
