Will GT3 rear wing spoiler fit 2003 Targa?

I have a chance to buy an authentic GT3 rear wing to put on my 2003 Targa, but wasn't sure if it will be a direct bolt on fit or not? Not sure if the GT3 is a widebody like the Turbo's. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

The GT3 wing will directly bolt on, but it's not "plug and play". You will have to change the air intake to an aftermarket one, as the GT3 wing has the air inlet on the right, while ours is on the left.

I looked into an "inexpensive" OEM GT3 wing as well, but was put off by the additional cost of modification. You can make it work, but IMHO I would recommend just getting the aerokit wing that was made specifically for our cars. Either wait for a used OEM, or go for a knockoff like MA Shaw.

There are several threads on Rennlist looking into this topic if you want to look further.

The gt3 wing does not have any air inlets...one of you is talking wings and one of you is talking about the engine cover, which has the hole for the air intake...I doubt if your engine cover has the correct mounting posts for the oem gt3 wing...you will probably need the engine cover as well

GT3Chuck's clarification is correct, I was assuming with the previous poster's question regarding narrow vs wide body that the decklid was to be replaced as well.

There is an aftermarket, "wing only" solution that gets rid of the slotted spoiler and adds a GT3-esque wing using the stock decklid. Don't remember the manufacturer.
