what is the wing made out of? - Sometimes I wonder why fiberglass or any other composite creation is so expensive. I mean, after the inital labor in mould creation, every other copy is virtually labor free save for cashing the check.

if it's my car, do it the right way or not at all. ur car won't fly having a wing in the back. u want it because u want people to think it can fly!

There are two primary fiberglass products out there that we use - Misha and Strosek.
The differences are not noticed once we paint them, but the prep work on one is more than the other. Reason? Strosek encapsulates its wings. This means you get a surface that is pretty much impervious and ready for primer/paint/clear without too much prep.
The non encapsulated just need a bit more work in the prep area, and tend to be a bit more porous. This requires more material and labor, but BOTH wings come out fabulous in the end!
And...we paint the kevlar too.
So if you wanted a GT2 style wing, the average fiberglass unit might weigh in around 14 pounds (top blade), versus our 6 pound kevlar.
And if you think that once you make the mold, you're done...well, you're dead wrong. It requires quite a bit of handwork to build these wings.
If you were molding them from urethane, that would be a one shot/done sort of deal. But not fiberglass. It's a *****.
Hope than answers some questions. All of the above are absolutely top notch quality, just basic differences explained.

Those wheels are sweet. Someone will be very lucky to get their hands on those.
