How many chicks/nods/thumbs up have you gotten with your Porsche?
 

I dont know if this question has been addressed, but I was just wondering how many actual chicks has everyone picked up because of our Porsche? I myself have gotten alot of nods/thumbs up and "nice/hot/awesome car!" comments on the ride, but I do find that I get more comments from guys than girls. Don't get me wrong... it feels good when a complete stranger admires and is in awe just by the looks and the sound of our car, but I just wished that it would be more of a chick-magnet than I had anticipated... not that I'm complaining, lol. I have gotten alot of positive comments on the car and it never seems to get old, but has anyone really gotten laid just because they drove a Porsche? (lol)

Please post any stories... humorous or otherwise... regarding any admirers anyone has met/picked up.

I have the same experience, mostly thumbs up or people trying to take pics of my car. But I have to say if I bring my far clubbing or to a bar, pick up some chick and then when we are outside about to leave, if I show them the Porsche they will usually come back with me for the night ;-p

So random off the street strangers none, but for bars and clubs, tons!

Only dudes, never the chicks :(
But hey I never bought the car for the women. It truly is the driving experience

Porsches are not "Sexy" to say, they look Bad Ass... Want Sexy? R8 it is...

Anyways, I'd say it is because a Porsche is a pretty common car on the road. As Zookie said, something a little more rare usually gets more attention. Like a lambo, R8, etc... although I do see a few of those around, I see a lot more Porsches.

it seems like older women 40+ love it =(
the age demographic men ask me about my car also.
Young women generally dont care much about cars,
they know its a nice car though.But in San Diego there
are a lot of nice cars.
I was thinking about it the other day,i bet 1 in 1,000,000
women can tell the difference between a 996 and a 997.
whatever,i like the car it is fun to drive and i like it.

I was pleasantly surprised to read this post. I bought my P-car just four months ago, and have come to a similar conclusion. To date, this is not a chick-magnet. It's a dude-magnet. I only drive my P-car on my two days per week off. I get a compliment nearly every time I do so. After numerous compliments from the dude's corner, I finally got my first compliment from a chick (or should I say hen [65+]) Chick or hen, I'll take it. And speaking of hens, I did not get laid. :D :cool:

lol, Porsches are definitely dude-magnets, my SLK get a lot more chicks and even gay guys attention more than the Porsche. I've had girls asking to ride in the empty seat in the SLK. Nice car, need a gf type of comments with my SLK, never for the Porsche. In fact I have a couple of local guys asked if they can ride in my Porsche lol. No getting laid, I'm married but if I was single my SLK will definitely get me laid or at least hot chicks riding in the passenger side all the time. :D

I get a ton of attention in the Porsche. Lowered with nice rims always helps just since it stands out more. I agree a stock stock version of a 996 will fly a bit under the radar.

Gotten at least over 5 numbers this past summer. Yes its probably not the "right" type of girl but again who cares lol.

Gets way more attention than I thought it would and this is in car capital So Cal. I have an MB SL too and fair to say this get as much attention..

That reminds me of when I drove my 2 week old 996 to my buddy's house and backed it into his driveway. I walk into his house and his 35 year-old wife says WOW, that's a nice Corvette! I just about lost it! LOL

True story. Second night of porsche ownership two wednesdays ago:
Two girls pull up next to me in a chrysler 300 and the passenger is staring over at me. We roll the windows down and she says:
"omg, you are the hottest thing i've ever seen. you've got to give me your number and don't worry, I'm completely normal!"
I said "well, I don't even know you!" She said please please and i gave it to her.
she called two seconds later, we spoke for a few minutes and told her to call me on the weekend. Never heard back. I was ok with it, she was just ok.

anyway, that never happened to me in either of my 2 bimmers or caddy.

I have gotten a few chicks because of the car. Hell i have gotten some chicks just from them seeing the Porsche key hanging from my belt. I do agree you would get more ass from a Lambo and what not . I think some girls might be afraid to approach someone with an expensive car unless it's something they do on the regular haha.

I haven't noticed any obvious overtures of interest from women while in the 996, I have gotten a couple of looks from dudes....:rolleyes: and nice car comments and nods.

Stock 996 in South Fla is under the radar.... I have given the nod to fellow Porsche owners on the road.:)

No chance in getting chicks once they see the baby seats in the back. ;)

I do get the occasional: "That's a Porsche and it's like $100k ,right?" then followed up by "How old are you and what do you do?" since I look young and usually dress like a punk. :rolleyes:
