Brake Caliper Paint- yellow or red
Dont do that paint on kit with the porsche calipers. Been there, done that. It sucks. Looked like complete ****. Get them powdercoated. I had mine done by sandoval on the forum. He's got a core set with quick turn around. Not too expensive either.
The secret is to use the paint at the proper working temp. I recommend warming both stages in a hot water bath before mixing and painting. They claim a 2 hour window to work with it, so make sure everything is clean and ready to go before mixing. I used a finer bristled brush when I did mine and had no paint brush marks at all. It looked like the calipers came from the factory that way. If you are worried about coverage, buy two sets.....

Here me now, believe me later
The paint on stuff looks like ****. I did mine in an air conditioned garage, twice, and it still looked horrible. The porsche calipers are just too smooth. I did my bmw with the paint on and it came out pretty good, but the diff was that the bmw calipers are much rougher and hid the brush strokes, etc...
You've got an expensive car. Spend the $500ish (with install) and do it right. If you've got wheels with large open spokes, it'll be really noticeable.
Michelle: Yours look pretty good from the photos? That wasn't brush on was it?
I've seen good results with high temp caliper paint as well. Powdercoating is still my favorite. You get complete covereage with no drip marks or brush strokes.

Eli,
What is the turnaround time for your friend to do the work? Does this require dismantling the calipers?
