996 help!!

I am need of some desperate help with a 2002 996 Cabrio. The factory cupholder, under the air vents, got jammed and wouldn't open. I tried to gently pry it out and of course the plastic front with cup logo promptly cracked in half. I will have to order a whole new cupholder. Does anyone know how to remove the whole piece so I can install the new one?

When they replaced my radio and pulled it out the cupholder over it seemed to be accessable.

Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate it. Is it necessary to remove the radio and other trim? My only concern is the plastic is so darn brittle from lack of care and I am afraid of snapping something.
