Help with putting the (third brake led) back to the top not wing.

I just sold my wing and now I have to put the led brake back to the top (green arrow). I see the wire but when I plug it in led wouldn't work but when I plug it in the bottom harness it would light up (red arrow).

How do I access the top harness plug (green plug)?

check with a tester if a 12v signal is in one of the wires when you put the brake pedal, if you see a 12v signal , just put the other wire to ground.
i did it inside the car (take out the rear carpet cover and you are going to see the wires of the 3rd brake light.
hope this help you.hilarious

LED lights are sensitive to polarity, unlike incandescent bulbs.

Did this LED light work before?

Right. I had to reverse the plug wires to get my LED 3rd brake light to work.

behind the rear seats under the rear glass.

Doesn't the rear spoiler have to be in the down position for that 3rd brake light to work? Maybe the car thinks the rear spoiler is in the up position.

This makes sense. My OEM wing is disabled.

If I plug it on the lower plug it works (green arrow) If I plug it to the upper plug (red arrow) doesn't work.

Anyone know why?

Again the green arrow plug is the normal 3rd brake light. The red arrow is the 3rd brake light with the spoiler in the up position. The red arrow harness only functions with the spoiler in the up position.

So which means my wing is in up position. How do I put it back to down position so the green plug can work.

Because I'm putting the GT3 MKII wing and the brake lights needs to be back on the top regular place. Had the break light on my RUF wing.

There is a switch on the fuse panel that raises and lowers the wing. Just press the down button. But if i'm not mistaken if the wing is left up when you turn the car on and off it should go down on it's own.

So the switch by the fuse below the steering wheel, if I press down it should work? Will I hear anything from the motor?

sad to see the kit broken up...

So I did push the button down and I hear some clicking noise while holding the button. But still now lighting up. This led works when plug on the bottom harness (green arrow)...

What's going on here? I need this brake light to work since I change my wing to GT3 MK2 I need this light to work. I don't like not having the 3rd brake.
