Airbag light just came on!

I took my steering wheel off to re-adjust it and after i put it back on the airbag light came on. I definitely plugged the air bag in, so it's not that. Although, before I put the airbag in, I did take a spin around the block to make sure the wheel was straight, and that's when it came on (of course). Should it still be on even after I put the airbag on?

I guess I'm screwed and either need the Durametric software, or go to the dealer correct? Is it worth taking the steering wheel off to check again?

The airbag light does not clear itself. The problem was the drive without the airbag installed. You will need to clear it with durametric/pst2/piwis/baum, etc
