Great job wow vivid orange stunning! Love the carbon roof idea just like the new M3's, if that is the look your going for looks original yet unique congrats on the conversion.

its just painted like that. I wasnt thinking of painting black but we were lazy and didnt want to take out the sunroof so we just kept it black.

The car really looks amazing. I'm all for the black roof too.

If you don't mind a few questions, did you use a front end kit or use all steel oem parts from 997?

His posts says he used all oem steel which made it a bit more difficult due to the lower half of the fenders needing to be modified to line up with the 996 contours.

Places like LA dismantlers sell 997 conversion kits that are pieced together with all OEM parts but they fail to mention how to address the OEM 997 fenders to fit and contour smoothly to the 996 body. IIRC, the 997 sideskirt area where it meets the fender flares out a bit on the 997 models.
