Track guys wheels choice?
Track guys wheels choice?
For the guys who track their cars what size wheels are you running as well as the tire specs.
I am looking at either wanting to run a 245x?x? up front and a 305x?x? out back.
Are you guys running 18s or 19s and what offset, ill be trying to run this in time attacks and such with a street tire. Most likely hankook RS-3s.

Be careful as to how much tire and grip you add. The m96 engine has a lubrication issue in long high G turns. I run 225 18's up front and 285 18's in the back. I installed the M030 suspension and have -1.8 deg camber in the rear and -.7 deg up front. The tires are on BBS 18 sport rims 8 up front and 10 in the back. There is plenty of grip with this setup and depending on the track, our lowly 300 hp engines are well suited to the original equipment. I also run pirelli p-zero's. They let you know when you reach the edge when all four are squealing. Play with the suspension geometry, tire pressure etc. to dial in your ride.
Good luck.

What he said. I had CCW make two sets for me a couple of years ago using the same offset and width as the GT3 wheel. I run Hooiser R6 245/35/18 front and 295/30/18 rear. Of course, Michelin MPSC work and have the same sized as the Hoosier if your are looking for longer tire life. Great durable wheels!
