Does anyone know if the EVOMS 997 intake will fit a 1999 C2?

Their online site for the 996 intake says "-fits all 996 / 997 models" but the 997 intake does not mention which models it fits.

I'm just curious because I found a good deal on a 997 intake, but I dont want to make a $300 mistake...

I would say no from experience..well not on my '00 c2..the vendor shipped me the evoms 997 intake instead of the 996..I decided to give it a shot anyway..it turns out the box rubbed against the belt & the snorkel won't line up with the decklid vent..

I have a 997 EVOMS cold air intake on my 99 996. It fit fine, after I installed the $15 mounting bracket that I bought from EVOMS. I have used it for about five years on two different 99 996 models, with no problems.
