I started this thread, so I wouldn't be hijacking the one on installations. I just was just advised that there is a firmware update to fix the iphone connecting. Please advise how do I go about getting it.

 

You can get it directly from Kenwood on their website. It looks like the original version on the DNX-6960 was bluetooth version 3.60. They are now offering version 3.80. You can read about it on the site, as well as download instructions to perform the update if you decide that's what you need. They have forums there too, so you can see how to do the update. I assume it uses the micro SD slot, but it may require access to the USB port.
