RLandis,

I found that the X73 suspension noticeably improved the handling and the look of my C4S. When I first added the aerokit I noticed that the car felt more "planted" especially at 70+ mph. You probably notice in the stock Carrera when that little wing goes up at 72 mph the rear of the car feels more stable. With the aerokit it feels that way all the time. The car went from slight understeer to almost neutral.

When I added the X73 the car is now a little on the oversteer side which I like. The ride is not too harsh, but I still have to be wary of ground clearance in driveways, speed bumps, etc. The PSS9's are another good option (adjustable). There are no tracks around here though for me to test the car accurately; these are just "real world" impressions.

The only problem I have run into is alignment. Here in the midwest all the alignment rigs use laser guidance. Unfortunately, my car is too low, and I have to find someone with the old "cable guided" system.

The GT3 seats hold you firmly but there are trade-offs in comfort and ease of entry and exit. I am tall (6 '5") so I added the Brey-Krause brackets for extra head and leg room. I was very shocked by how much energy is wasted trying to stay in the stock seats with hard cornering; with the GT3 seats cornering is "effortless" and the feedback from the car (sliding at the limits, etc.) is vastly improved.

I keep meaning to take pics but have not got around to it yet. Finally the snow has melted but the roads are still pretty messy. They call it "sanding" but it is more like gravel or boulders .

Richard,
Powertech advertises in the Northern NJ PCA magazine. I haven't heard anything bad about them but they aren't close to where I live(I live by the jersey shore)

Chris,

I'll check with local owners I know in NJ this week and see what's near cranford, I'll PM you by monday.

Chris NJ--
After reading your comments, I think a C4S is the wrong car for you. Any mods to bring the power up to your expectations will be expensive. If you're also considering the Viper and C6, you'll get a lot more bang for the buck with an out of the box C6, or wait a bit and get the 500hp version (Z06, I think). The P cars are a different driving experience, and a clean TT will be more than 60K.
