I have a coolant leak and I can't tell where is is coming from. It is on the drivers side on the car. Looks to be inbetween the engine and transmission area

Could in be the coolant tank. From the top it does not look like that is leaking.
Is there a coolant hose or clamp up in that area?

 

the tanks commonly develop hairline cracks...likely cause

 

Coolant tank is toward the back of the engine compartment. This looks to be at the other end of the engine.

 

that is only the part of the tank that you can see...the rest of it goes pretty far back and leaks there can migrate and make you think they are coming from somewhere else...there are plenty of coolant lines and small hoses too so you will probably need to take it to someone experienced that can diagnose the problem
