My best friends 2002 C4S ...7200 miles....he started the car - made a funny noise and stalled - he thought battery..AAA came jumped the car - cranking noise from the Engine and then smoke and then dead. Towed it to Beverly Hills Porsche - They will replace the engine. What happened ?

BTW the Carlsbad drive was fun but hard keeping up in the Boxster - Roy 997 looked cool......Tony gT3 looked awesome and Ron thanks for arranging the event.....My heart is on getting a yellow 996 again but I think I am giving up on buying an 02 Turbo and will probably buy the C4S off my friend as he will be selling it soon....nice car AS-Black......that way my son gets the boxster and I keep some change in the pocket......

Also my wife drives the Chris Bangle 5 series and now she is graduating so I am uprading to the 545 from the 530.....i tried to sell her the Pepper but no go....we are taking european delivery - that should be fun..intersting BMW gave me 10% the price for getting Euro Delivery and Porsche wanted a 10,000 refundable Deposit (some sort of tax)

He has taken such good care of the 2002 c4s and now this....anyone has any idea what happened
