Found this listing on cars.com. Thinking about taking a look this weekend. Outside of the price, what do you guys think--a good and ready-to-go track car, or a frankenstein chopper to stay the heck away from?

Something kind of unsettling is the carfax--says 2 owners, yet looks like the car was bought and sold at least 4 times.

Any of you local Chicago guys familiar with this car or its history?

Autobarn has received less than stellar reviews in the past. Coupled to the fact that the are totally trying to attach the mod value to the car and selling an 02 for a premium and no mention of a warranty. Price is harboring dangerously close to gt3 territory. I did not see any mention of ims/rms update or such.
