setting and clearing seat memory

so i followed the instructions in my manual -with key in -ignition on -hold down keybutton and #2 - will clear memory. doesn't seem to work - any advice -could someone review the procedure?

I need to hold the "M" button and the number button to set memory. Works fine for me.

Did you try to SET or CLEAR the memory? I have never tried to "Erase" the memory but set it up is totally working by following the manual.
