Strongest battery for a 996 cabriolet?

My father has a 996 cab with a killer sound system in it, and I was wondering what the strongest (highest amperage?) battery is that is compatible with this vehicle. The one in the car is weak right now and needs to be replaced.

Voodoo08 is on a distinguished road
cant really go wrong with optima, oddysey or any other dry cell or gel battery.

But if the sound system is large enough and all the lights flicker while playing you may just want to get a battery designated for the sound system.

I can't deal with them. They don't even have Porsche as a listed application on their website, and when we called them they said to check around the Porsche web boards to figure out how to get them to work. Sorry Optima, but you lost that sale.

if you want stock fit, try interstate. pretty much all battery are about the same unless you go dry cell.

Thanks for the tips. I went with an Interstate as their battery rated slightly higher amperage, was cheaper, and had dealers down the street rather than in the next city over. Will install once the flat tire is fixed.
