Yes I would. I didn't do it when I had my clutch done and 6 months plus $1500 I had to have mine replaced.

If it makes you feel any better, my car had a new clutch, ims, and rms installed by a dealer less than 5k miles ago and I also have a leak already.

Part is the 997 update, no need for the AOL, my indi recommended not to replace... To give some history, at just under 100k, the original engine had intermix, the owner at that point went for a remanufactured engine took off a car with 40k. My indi (very reputable) did the work, he said the engine had been upgraded with LN bearing and had been remanufactured. They replaced the clutch, spark plugs and so on, in went the engine. When i got the car, it had been driven about 4k with the "newer engine". I put 12k in 10 months, pedal to the metal. I i replaced every fluid and changed oil often (filter even more), and we found some metal in the filter (very small, very little) that seemed pieces of the original IMS bearing. i had the water-pump done, and today we removed the pan and the tranny... everything checks out. RMS was weeping, he cleaned everything tomorrow i will pick it up.... I am going with castrol 5w 50 (for the summer).... I will drive it like i stole it during the week end.
