PSE question 3.4 vs 3.6

I have a version of pse for sale, but I'm not sure which one it is. One of the part numbers on a muffler is 996.111.985.01. Does anyone know how to tell if it's a 3.4 or 3.6 version? I don't want to sell it to someone and not have it work.

TIA,
chris

mffarrell is infamous around these parts
I believe that you may have the PSE for the 3.4 version. The older (oldest) PSE has the smaller bypass tubes. 000 044 200 21 is the newer larger PSE.

Full part numbers for the 3.6 mufflers should be:
996 111 984 03 Main muffler, left with flap
996 111 985 03 Main muffler, right with flap

My research of the forums show that the .01 and .03 are very similar and both can be used on all 996s...Only .00 can not be used on 3.6L. I have to give credit to Loren on RennTech for a lot of this info.
