i always get tickets when i get a new car. good thing i dont get a new car every year!

in fact, when i got the lambo, it was 2 tickets in a month. gotta be careful out there. we all do silly things when a new toy comes. give him a break!

Yes a little over 2 years ago I had my fair share of tickets when I first bought the 911 it was hard to tame the beast Now I notice OTHERS (including highway patrol) speed up to see who is driving the gorgeous 996. Funny thing about cops they are watching everyone, but keep close eyes on sports cars.

Now that is a good thought. I will work on my signaling, even if I don't think it is necessary.

THANKS

GTFOH....

I drive it like I stole it and 15+ years without an accident. I know Me doing 100 turn signal or not I am 110% safer than the tools on I-95 texting, putting on make-up, talking on cellphones, etc...

Some of you need to trade up to a Prius me thinks.

Bullsh*t, I am not getting soft just smarter every day as for everyone else I don't know their driving habits. The day I purchase a Prius is the day Porsche stops building 911's you know it would never happen.

I don't want to jinx myself, because I've been ticket-free for the year and a half I've had my 996, but I get the opposite impression of cops around where I live.

There's a relatively high percentage of nice cars (Porsche/BMW/Audi/Lexus) in the area, and A1A is the main thoroughfare. Traffic typically travels 5-10 over the speed limit through there, but it seems like cops are much more interested in pulling over the old jalopy Chevy Cavaliers and beat up pick-up trucks than they are people driving the nice cars.

Profiling? Maybe. I guess I'm not complaining, though.

I appreciate all your replies! I don't think it's too hard to move my left hand up or down to signal my intentions to other drivers.. I will work on that. Thanks!
