clearance between brake and wheels

I put Gemballa competition wheels on my C4S (look great, thanks again, John) but I noticed the clearnace between the red callipers and the spokes of the front wheels is very narrow, no more than the width of a piece of cardboard. They do not touch and the wheels turn fine without rubbing, but is this anything that I should be concerned about? Thanks

Mine are the same way. I wouldn't sweat it. The only time it would be a prob is if your wheels should flex, which they shouldn't.

The one and only time I have heard of this was actually recently. A friend of GaryFL has a Stradale with HRE's. The wheel flexed so much at the track that it scraped his calipers up and almost took out the brake line. Apparently HRE was pretty cool about it and paid for the repairs and replaced the wheels.
