Importing a US spec 996 into Germany - US vs Euro differences?
Hey all,
So I have a 996 I'd really like to keep and take with me to Germany. I realize it will be expensive to ship, will have to pass inspection, I must own it for 6 months to avoid tax (I have). But I am basically wondering what modifications will need to be made. I have heard rear fog lights, but don't our cars have those in US trim? And the bumperette's AFAIK can come off for a while to accommodate the Euro size plate as a temporary solution.
Anyone else know of any other differences/issues that might come up?
