Ive been lurking on the board for a while. I'm finally happy to be a part of this. I would like your thoughts on my newly painted rims.

 

IMHO, I don't like the color combo....

Black rims look good on Black, yellow, Silver, Grey and sometimes white. I know that your rims are painted the same as your vehicle but from about 15 feet away you can't tell the differerence....

BTW: Welcome to the board..... "Is that a dent on your rear 1/4 panel there?"

 

I think I like them, but I would need to see a straight on shot to confirm

 

No, there are no dents on the car. I guess in order to appreciate them you would need to see them in person

I think a wheel with more spokes or thicker spokes would look better with painted centers.

 

Looks really nice and unique! (550 boxster style) Something like a Porsche Exclusive Option...

 

I like those powder coated to look like they are polished

 

I actually love painted rims, so I may be a bit biased ... but damn that's classy. I love it. Black says "I'm a bad-*** racer", dark blue says "I'm bad-*** ... and posh."

Only detail, I'd have polished the silver areas. Perhaps it's just the picture, but they seem a bit dull ...

But I still like it a lot. There again, I usually like weird stuff ...

nope, the wheels/car now look like something it's trying to be but cannot. almost ricer. i agree with the first poster, but that's just me! good luck and have fun with the car, it's all good in the end. but that setup looks ugly to me (i had an ocean blue ride, so i may be a bit biased).
