Any good service centers around Irvine area to do oil change etc on 996?

Duane @ visionmotorsports com. He is in lake forest. Inexpensive, and nice guy. I service my car there, he rebuilt my tip too... he builds racing pcars for the OC crowd, pretty much. Skeaky clean 12,000sf shop, too.

I just called Vision Motorsports, $260 for an oil change. Seems a little high for less than $100 in parts.

You can change oil and oil filter on your Porsche by yourself for less than $100.
Very easy and straight forward. My wife told me if I am man enough to drive a Porsche then I should be man enough to change its oil by myself :-)

So, $100 in parts and another $100 and a bit more for service and disposal. Nothing wrong with that. You can always do it yourself but that was not the question. I'd rather have somebody do it and not have to mess around to save $100, but that is just me.
