my right radiator has a weird problem of slight high pitch noise to it after the engine has been running for a while. This only started to happen recently. I check for leaks but there is none so I have no clue what the problem is.

I also have another problem with my radiator fan as it seems to run funny too. It runs for 5-6 seconds, STOPS for 10 seconds and runs again for 5-6 seconds and repeats itself but this only happens after running the engine for a while. It runs fine when u first start the car or perhaps the first hour. Anyone got suggestions?

 

I have a 99 C2 with 80k on the clock and it does the EXACT same thing!! i'd love to know what the "buzz/whistle " s all about.

 

Does your air conditioning stop working when you are stopped? If so, your fan resistor is probably going bad. It's a pretty common failure.

 

air conditioning works perfectly even when the car is stopped. on the other hand, heat doesn't work properly but I dunno if it has anything to do with it. Heat takes a while to work and even at the hottest temp, its not that hot.
