2004 OEM 996 headlights on 2002

Hey Guys,

Would really appreciate some help. I bought a used 2002 porsche c4 and on the passenger headlight the housing had a lot of scratches and a yellowish hue. I decided to not try to fix it and bought a 2004 headlight. The housing was a bit different in a way it did not have the lines as opposed to the 2002 headlights. When I installed it it did not auto level (go down and up like my original headlights) when I turned my car on. Any idea as to why this could be? I'm a newbie with porsche so any help/insight would be appreciated.

I talked to a friend and they said that maybe the headlight itself is does not auto level. Could I use the motor from the old 2002 headlight and put it in the 2004? Not sure...

I've attached the picture of the headlight I got. It's the mirrored (non ribbed) headlights.

What you got is the TURBO headlight, same but NOT RIBBED like the regular one..as for the auto level if it has that feature then you probably just dont have it connected corrected, its the SAME LIGHT just smooth not ribbed, either way you will need to buy another one to match them so they look good
