Hi Guys -

Am thinking of getting into a 996 C4S. I'm trading my current car in for the C4S, and am getting the following deal from a midwest dealer:

- Seal Gray / Gray 2003 C4S
- Six speed manual
- Car is in good condition
- 7,500 miles
- $85K MSRP (including Bose, in-dash player, full power seats, red calipers, twin exhaust pipes, etc., etc.)
- I believe I would be the second owner (possibly the third)

The implied price for this C4S, based on a fair dealer price for my trade-in is about $68K. I think this is pretty good, but wanted to run it buy the board.

- Have asked for the full list of options
- Have asked for a CarFax
- Have asked how much tread is left on the tires

Any thoughts on price as well as what I should look for would be much appreciated. Have RMS issues plagued the C4S' as well? If so, what is the anticipated cost to fix (if not covered by dealer warranty).
