V1 with or without laser jammer?

Since most people seem to go with the V1, I'm curious how many of you use it with an add-on laser jammer? If you only use the V1, have you ever been caught with laser?

I have a K-40, but also have Lidetek Laser Echo on one of my cars. It saved me once (in over 3 years of use), so I know I it works.

V1

I have had a V1 forever and it works great. But the cops hide and hit you late with laser, so I also installed the laser blinder unit and it has paid for its self about 4 times so far. The V1 or any radar unit is just not enough anymore.

Why get 2 seperate units?
I have a Passport SRX, it detects radar and jamms laser quite efficiently. An added bonus is that the unit is "Stealth", nothing showing on your windshield.

Stealth is great, but detecting laser is worthless.
He's talking about jamming, so you need 2 units.
Plus, the V1 detects radar much better than anything Passport has. It can be made more stealth with remote display, but you still need the unit tucked away under the visor or something to hide it.
