What tire pressures would you recommend for daily driving (street use)? I live around Chicago, so the roads are far from perfect.

Also, sorry for the novice question, but do you use different tire pressures during the summer vs. the winter? I run 18" during the summer and 17" during the winter (winter tires are sottozero serie ii).

For street use I run 36F and 40R all year round with 18" both summer and winter, but with different tires for summer and winter. Used to run 40F and 44R but the ride is much harsher with the higher pressures. Here in the Chicago region the roads can get pretty bad.

 

Here in Nor Cal, I have used 36F/44R with great tire performance.

 

Same 36/40 here. Higher rear pressure will accelerate tire wear and I found this to be good compromise for handling.
