I posted about a intermittent passenger side headlight problem a few weeks ago. Anyway today i took out the headlight and went to check the bulb.When i pulled the red cap that goes on the back of the bulb I noticed that it was burnt and the bulb socket was burnt and slightly melted . Do i have to replace the whole ballist or can you just change the red plug . I also am now in need of a new bulb and ballist and/or the red plug , so if anyone can help me out of give me tips i would appreciate it . Is it ok to put the bulb back and the cap on untill i replace or what .Thanks guys

 

Update on the situation , bought a new ballist and bulbs off eBay . Problem fixed! Still dont know why the ballist plug fried but whatever
