litronic head lights?? same as xenon

i saw a 04 996 at the dealer today. the car is brand new and dealer wants to deal bad...

but the sticker dosen't state xenon lights, which is importantto me. but when i look at the headlights, it looks like xenon to me (little circle) when compared to the ones next with xenon.

is this litronic? if so, how is different than xenon?

thanks.

litronic = xenon.

the circle, u mean the headlight washer? u can easily tell if it's xenon by simply switch the light on & off. xenon has blue hue when u switching on in the first few seconds. i'm surprised that the dealer doesn't know if the car has xenon or not.

the dealer said it has no xenon. the reason i question is because ther is a circular lense that sits on the upper part of the headlight assembly. which you only seen on xenon. usually on a regular headlight, it's just a big lense. not sure if i am describing well. anyway, the sticker definitely doesn't say xenon and was during the day to try to see it. i will just assume it doesn't... hmm, keep looking.

test drove a 02 turbo.... worry it's too much car for me.

If the 04 996 has Xenons (Bi-Xenons on a 996) they should look like the pic attached - Note the Chrome shaped disc which is actually the head/cap of the washer arm. If this is not present, the car has standard headlights. Apart from this feature you cannot tell the Bi-Xenons apart from a standard headlight unless switched on!

Bi-Xenons are not exactly the same as litronics. Bi-Xenons utilise an extra H1 Globe for High-Beam when switched to High-Beam mode whereas the Litronics do not have this extra lit globe in combination with the Xenon lamp for High-Beam continuous use.
